The first thing you should know is, you'll always find compassionate care here. I've been where you are.

I've journeyed through many facets of learning to land here in lactation world! My most favorite (and certainly most hands-on) experience is being Mom to my two handsome boys. I had the immense joy of breastfeeding my children, and they both came with plenty of learning lessons.
I bring a unique skillset to the table as a Licensed Massage Therapist and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Not only can I work with you and your baby on feeding, I can also help remove those structural obstacles causing latch difficulty or dysfunction. My goal is to serve my clients with the best care, so I received specialty training as a Certified Health Coach to make communication clear, concise, and goal oriented. I'm currently progressing towards receiving my degree in Food and Nutrition to better serve families in their overall dietary health.

So why are all these learning pieces important to optimally supporting lactation? What I've found with my experience; we are in need of more than just help with our babies, parents need help with their own needs too! When I am honored to work with a family for feeding support, not only am I working with the baby, I am working with the entire family. That's Mom(s), Dad(s), Sister(s), Brother(s) and even Grandparent(s)!

You might wonder why, when lactation is about feeding the baby. And yet, it's not just about nutrition. Breastfeeding isn't simply feeding your baby, it's our biological connection to our children. It's bonding, it's growth, and it's healing. It can look different for everyone, and in many capacities. This practice is all inclusive, and supports breastfeeding in any way that meets the family's needs and goals. I see families when they planning to start a family, and that phase is where the real work starts. The foundation to be laid down for future health! Understanding your own health needs prior to conception opens up so many positive opportunities for you and your family. Not only are you supporting a healthy pregnancy, you are learning about how to support your own needs post-pregnancy, and be able to anticipate what your baby might need as well.

What does this mean for you if you decide to work with me? Nutrition, health, and lactation are all things we'll explore together. Got a "tight" baby with muscular restrictions? We can handle that together, too! Thinking that your baby might have a "tongue-tie?" We can assess and make steps to improve your baby's function and structure.

Because breastfeeding isn't just about feeding, it shows us all the ways our baby (and parents!) need support, when it matters most. A solid foundation is the key to future health, for your family and future generations to come.
